Only one vacuum tube panel is needed to provide enough hot water for a 3 bedroom house. Heat is trapped in the vacuum inside the tubes and then travels up the tube to the manifold. An anti-freeze solution is heated in the manifold and is pumped to your tank where it continuously heats your water. If it is a dark winter’s day, your boiler will be automatically used so you are never without hot water.
